Each child was presented with backpack hampers containing White Star Instant Porridge to help them start the following day the right and other goodies.

“The children, in particular those from the orphanages I have worked with, have a very special place in my heart and for this reason, I decided that I wanted to connect with them on my special day. The very best birthday gift for me was seeing the joy on the little ones’ faces as we played party games and enjoyed the incredible entertainment on offer together. By offering our youngsters opportunities to engage in the lighter side of life, we help them to imagine a brighter future for themselves. A big thank you to White Star and all sponsors involved,” concludes Miss Soweto 2016.
