1. This competition is open to anyone except employees of Continental Tyre South Africa and their families.
  2. General Tire is a brand of Continental.
  3. Entrants must follow one or more of General Tire SA’s social media platforms: Facebook (@GeneraltireSa), Instagram (@generaltire_sa) or Twitter (@generaltire_sa).
  4. Multiple entries are permissible but entrants need only post on one of General Tire South Africa’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to be eligible for the competition.
  5. Weekly prizes will be awarded for the best/most creative entry posted during the week under review. Weekly winners will be drawn every Friday from the submitted entries for the week and will be awarded on the Monday after verification.
  6. All winners will be notified via the social media platform concerned.
  7. The judges’ decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  9. The competition opens on 6 November and closes at noon on 3 December 2017.
  10. The promoter cannot be held liable for any entries not received before the closing date for whatever reason.
  11. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any circumstance outside of the promoter’s control. Entrants will be notified of any changes to the competition as soon as possible by the promoter.
  12. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  13. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
  14. The entrant agrees that any submission made may be used for promotional purposes by Continental/General Tire SA without the expectation of any further compensation.
  15. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name in any publicity material. The image of the winner may also be used in any promotional material unless the winner specifically states otherwise. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
