South African media personalities Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung will give fans a special glimpse inside their nuptials in the form of a four-part Showmax special, with the first episode premiering today February 24.
Fans of the newlyweds – dubbed “Somhale” – will get an inside look into their traditional, African-themed wedding ceremony in Kibler Park in Johannesburg in September 2019, as well as their white wedding in Muldersdrift.
Somizi & Mohale: The Union is also about how the couple’s intimate love story came about.
“Somhale’s wedding is a beautiful and unique love story that needs to be told,” Candice Fangueiro, head of content at Connected Video, told Channel24.
“Becoming Mrs Jones and Dineo & Solo’s Wedding were both smash hits on Showmax, so we know our audience is going to love this.”
