Laugh it off: How to survive load-shedding and COVID-19

If there is one thing about South Africans, it is that we never shy away from tackling the tough topics with a touch of humour.

With several cases of coronavirus reported in South Africa and Eskom leaving us to deal with load-shedding yet again, you just had to know social media users and comedians would find a way to turn all-round bad news into a chuckle.

Local funny guy Themba Robin Behrens gives everyone a reason to smile even when faced with a global pandemic and stage four load-shedding. The comedian shared some comic relief to help people deal with COVID-19 – in truth no laughing matter – as well as the load-shedding mayhem.

Since Eskom announced another round of load-shedding this week, Behrens also shared some tips for dealing with the darkness.
