A group of youngsters have created a beautiful message to show thanks and encouragement to South Africa’s essential workers by collaborating on a musical medley.

Fifty students and alumni of Stageworx Performing Arts School in Johannesburg came together during #LockDown at their individual homes through technology to record The Ultimate South African Song Medley, made up of 28 of the most iconic songs by local music legends, spanning 50 years.

The video was created in association with Adcock Ingram OTC’s The Sponsors of Brave campaign which is supporting our healthcare professionals in the fight against Covid-19.

South African favorites that have been included in the performance come from artists such as Brenda Fassie, Kurt Darren, Mandoza, PJ Powers, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, The Parlotones, Miriam Makheba, Four Jacks and a Jill, Sonja Herholdt and Mafikozolo.
