Thusi faced a very personal attack on Twitter in 2019, when her success was attributed to her fair complexion, with one user saying she had no talent.

Her latest Instagram post seems to recognise all the struggles she’s faced including from haters who attributed her success to the colour of her skin.

The new series’ soundtrack is beautiful, with Sho Madjozi, Nadia Nekai and Black Motion all featured.

Thusi is no stranger to fame, having starred as the Warrior Princess of Nubia in Scorpion King alongside Zach Macgowan in 2017.
